Annual Hokie Picnic

The National Capital Region Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association welcomes all students, alumni, family, and friends to join us for our annual Hokie Picnic at the Wolf Trap National Park on Saturday, June 27th from 3 to 6pm. 

Join us to network, enjoy great food, and play fun games.  The picnic is free; however, please register to ensure appropriate accommodations.  Children and Pets are allowed & parking is free.

Join us and play or cheer for one of our many sports team!  Our local Hokies enjoy the opportunity to support a number of our teams from softball, to soccer, to flag football, to basketball, and volleyball - both competitive and non-competitive.

Get a Scholarship

Our chapter has awarded over $230,000 to deserving local students in the past 10 years. All donations we receive go towards our scholarship fund, to help support deserving future and continuing Hokies.
